Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. The role emphasizes safety, sanitation, and friendly interaction with residents and staff. Training and ongoing support will be provided to ensure high-quality service.

The position supports patient-centered dining experiences, follows dietary guidelines, and requires a team-oriented approach in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies compliance may be required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with occupants and leadership.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lb and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
