Job summary

Life Help in Greenwood, MS is seeking an Entry Level residential aide to join our clinical team on weekends and holidays. This position supports residents of Group Homes, promotes daily living activities, and helps maintain a safe, clean environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma and a valid Mississippi driver's license. The role emphasizes supervision, documentation, meal preparation, and daily living tasks, with opportunities for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a high school diploma.
• Valid Mississippi Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and assistance to residents of Group Homes and perform other related duties as assigned.
• Verbally prompt and assist members as needed to complete daily cleaning duties, personal hygiene, laundry, etc.
• Observe members daily for problems (e.g. aggression, auditory or visual hallucinations).
• Assist with planning, cooking and serving of meals.
• Complete weekly physical facilities checklist and monthly fire drills.
• Maintain documentation that is adequate, appropriate, complete and timely.
• Monitor the residence for cleanliness and safety at all times.
• Monitor and report need for supplies of residence (cleaning products, food items, housewares, etc.).
