Job summary

Life Help in Greenwood, MS is seeking an entry-level caregiver to support residents in group homes on weekends and holidays. You will assist with daily living tasks, observe residents for signs of distress, and work under supervision to maintain a safe, clean environment.

Responsibilities

• Verbally prompt and assist members to complete daily tasks.

• Complete weekly physical facilities checklist and monthly fire drills.
• Maintain documentation that is adequate, appropriate, complete and timely.
• Monitor the residence for cleanliness and safety at all times.
• Monitor and report needs for supplies of the residence.

Job Responsibilities

• Job Responsibilities: Provide supervision and assistance to residents of Group Homes and perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Duties

• Observe members daily for any problems, (i.e. aggression, auditory or visual hallucinations, etc.)
• Assist with planning, cooking and serving of meals.

• Maintain documentation that is adequate, appropriate, complete and timely.
• Monitor the residence for cleanliness and safety at all times.
• Monitor and report need for supplies of residence (cleaning products, food items, housewares, etc.).
