Edconic is seeking an Events Specialist in Minnesota to support residential life for Pre-College programs. You will oversee student programming, coordinate housing operations, and lead staff in daily activities.

The role requires 2+ years in residential life, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with a focus on safety and community building. Housing is provided with meals, and the salary is $22.22 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 2+ years of residential life experience or similar setting.
• Two references required to validate prior roles.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain a safe, residential community for ~150 students per term and ~20 staff.
• Oversee student programming from staff proposals to execution, including scheduling.
• Attend and co-lead weekly staff meetings; manage check-in/check-out days for quality service.
• Manage student and staff interactions via student management software.
• Assist with daily student affairs duties, including incident follow up.
• Support orientation and community-building activities for new cohorts.
• Oversee petty cash usage and track expenditures among staff.
• Coordinate housing logistics, move-in/out, and on-call rotations as needed.
