Job summary

Edconic in Minnesota seeks a Residential Hall Assistant Director for its pre-college program in Rochester. This live-in leadership role supports housing operations, student life, and program logistics, reporting to the Residential Hall Director.

You will coordinate check-ins, staff meetings, incident reporting, on-call duties, parent communication, and mentorship of residence assistants, with housing provided and an hourly rate of $29.00.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 2+ years of related work experience.
• Must be CPR certified or be willing to obtain prior to start of program.
• Two references required.

Responsibilities

• Execute work assigned by the RHD.
• Residential Check-In and Check-Out.
• Staff evaluations.
• Community Building.
• Attend weekly residence life staff meetings led by the RHD.
• Meet with staff who display behavior concerns and document meetings.
• Maintain the PA schedule and manage shift swaps.
• Receive suggestions and resolve or elevate to the RHD.
• Conduct daily check-ins and respond to student escalations; document incidents.
• Submit and track work orders, and manage Pronto.
• Coordinate logistics, setup and staffing for mandatory events.
• Attend weekly leadership meetings and manage development for residence staff.
• Attend co-curricular events and activities.
• Mentor and role model to PAs, students and staff.
• On-Call Duty and Back Up On-Call shifts.
• Communicate with parents/guardians about student needs.
• Mediate conflicts.

Education

2+ years of related work experience

CPR certification

Legal authorization to work in the United States
