Job summary

Jaybird Senior Living in Bartlett, IL, seeks a Life Engagement Coordinator to design and implement resident activities aligning with the Six Dimensions of Wellness and to oversee engagement staff across care levels.

The role requires a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, supervision of Memory Care staff, training, and maintaining records and budgets to support resident well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1-3 years of experience with elderly populations preferred.
• Valid chauffeur license within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and implement resident activities reflecting the Six Dimensions of Wellness.
• Complete Life Story/Six Dimensions assessments for new residents.
• Oversee and mentor Resident Engagement staff, including training.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise resident outings and community events.
• Maintain activity areas, supplies, and equipment; manage volunteers.
