Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in the United States seeks a Resident Lifestyle Director to design and oversee life-enrichment activities that enhance residents’ physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being. You will lead a team of activity staff, coordinate events, and work with families to maintain engagement.

The role involves budgeting with the Executive Director and partnering with Marketing to promote community programs, while ensuring high-quality care and a supportive, growth-oriented work

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years designing and leading life-enrichment activities for seniors in IL/AL/MC settings.
• At least 1 year in leadership within senior living, hospitality, or healthcare management preferred.
• Experience with dementia care is a plus; strong event planning background.
• Creative, empathetic, patient, and passionate about helping others.

Responsibilities

• Direct oversight of all life-enrichment activities, outings, and programs centered on residents' needs.
• Create and lead arts, crafts, music, drama, educational, and exercise activities.
• Plan & publish monthly newsletters, calendars, and activity meetings.
• Hire, train, and supervise Resident Lifestyle Assistants, Coordinators, and Drivers.
• Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers when appropriate.
• Encourage resident participation and celebrate achievements.
• Coordinate equipment and supplies for accessibility and storage.
• Work with Marketing to plan events and promotions for the community.
• Contribute to budgeting for the department with the Executive Director.
• Foster family and community support through newsletters, networking, and activities.
