Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities seeks a Life Engagement Assistant to support planning and implementing programs and events that enhance residents’ wellness, mind, and spirit. The role focuses on meaningful engagement for residents of varying cognitive and functional levels and uses Montessori-inspired approaches to empower residents.

You will work with the Life Engagement Coordinator to deliver ASE-based activities and ensure inclusive participation across the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year activities/recreation experience.
• Dementia engagement certification (or willing to obtain within one year).
• Current or eligible for CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist Life Engagement Coordinator in planning and implementing programs and events.
• Provide residents with Acts Signature Experience focusing on body, mind and spirit.
• Ensure meaningful engagement for residents with diverse cognitive and functional levels.
