Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities seeks a Life Engagement Assistant in our skilled nursing neighborhood to assist the Life Engagement Coordinator in planning and implementing programs and events that deliver the Acts Signature Experience (ASE), focusing on wellness, person-centered living, and hospitality.

The role supports residents across cognitive and functional levels, using Montessori-inspired engagement and personal history (My Story) to create meaningful activities that nurture body, mind,

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of one year of activities/recreation experience.
Dementia engagement certification (or willing to obtain within one year of employment)
Current or eligible for certification in CPR

Responsibilities

Assist Life Engagement Coordinator in planning and implementing ASE programs and events.
Ensure activities support residents’ wellness, dignity, and person-centered living.
Tailor engagements to residents’ history and preferences (My Story).
