The position includes interviewing, selecting, training, and supervising a team of 8-14 Resident Assistants; contributing to the residential curriculum; and managing budgets with fiscal responsibility.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in an appropriate area, or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience.
• Experience supervising student staff and managing a budget.
• Ability to develop and assess programs and curricula.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interview, select, train, supervise, and evaluate a team of 8-14 Resident Assistants.
• Assist with implementing and assessing a residential curriculum.
• Contribute to an assessment plan and use data to improve programs.
• Recruit, advise, develop, and support the Community Council.
• Manage hall budgets and university purchasing card usage.
• Administer Student Conduct processes and ensure policy compliance.
• Educate staff and students to enforce policies and provide referrals when needed.
• Serve as a customer service representative for the department and university.
• Maintain relationships with facilities staff and conduct health and safety inspections.
• Review on-call and incident reports and follow up as required.
