Job summary

Kaplan Estates in Massachusetts is seeking an Activities Assistant to support residents through engaging recreational and therapeutic activities. The role is full-time (37.5 hours weekly) with Sun-Thu days and one Wednesday evening shift, offering a competitive hourly rate and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an Assisted Living or Long-Term care setting preferred.
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Publisher, Outlook, Excel); valid MA driver's license and ability to pass DOT background check.
• Fluent English communication, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engaging recreational and therapeutic activities for residents.
• Document participation and progress accurately.
• Coordinate and supervise group activities, events, and outings; ensure safety and engagement.
• Safely transport residents to outings and appointments; assist with transfers as needed.
