Job summary

North End Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an Activities Assistant for a full-time role in Boston, MA. The position offers $16-$18 per hour and daily pay, with Monday–Friday 8 am–4 pm and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities include creating engaging activities, documenting participation, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to support resident well-being. High school diploma required; experience with seniors preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with seniors and healthcare settings preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, engaging environment to enhance residents' quality of life.
• Document resident participation in activities and programs.
• Promote residents' social, physical, emotional, and intellectual well-being through activities.
• Assist in planning and implementing recreational, social, and community programs.
• Build relationships with residents and encourage participation.
• Collaborate with the care team to support resident goals.
• Observe changes in moods and participation and communicate with team.
