Job summary

Katzman Family Center for Living in Chelsea, MA, is seeking a part-time Activities Assistant to support residents with engaging recreational and therapeutic activities. The role runs 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with rotating weekends and holidays, and pays $23.00-$25.00 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities include documenting participation, coordinating events, safely escorting residents, and transporting them to outings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Assisted Living or Long-Term care.
• Moderate to advanced computer skills with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with providing engaging recreational and therapeutic activities for residents.
• Document participation and progress accurately.
• Assist with coordinating and supervising group activities, special events, concerts, and other activities, ensuring residents are safely escorted and actively engaged.
• Safely transport residents to recreational outings and appointments and assist with resident transfers as needed.
