Liberty Senior Living is seeking an experienced Activity Director to plan and lead activities for residents, inform families about the program, and assess resident needs. The role includes supervising events and the volunteer program, with emphasis on engagement and safety.

The ideal candidate is a high school graduate eligible for state recreation therapy certification, able to work with staff, and capable of problem-solving under pressure. A valid driver’s license is required.

Formación

• High school graduate with eligibility for state recreation therapist certification or approved activities program management course.
• Must be willing to cooperate with staff and work well with others.
• Able to problem-solve and work under pressure.
• Willing to perform various job duties and care for equipment.
• Read, follow policies and maintain neat appearance and dress.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Plans, promotes and leads individual and group activities based on residents' needs and interests.
• Informs new patients and families about the Activity Program.
• Completes Activities Assessments per documentation policies.
• Conducts indoor and outdoor recreational activities, educational and expressive programs, and exercises.
• Supervises scheduling and posting of events to encourage participation.
• Supervises Volunteer Program and trainers for volunteers.
