Job summary

Liberty Senior Living is seeking an experienced Activities Assistant to plan, promote, and lead activities for residents at Wellington Bay. You will encourage social interaction, assist with religious and leisure programs, and help maintain calendars and supplies.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and prefer CDL. Prior long-term care experience and certification as an Activities Professional are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in Activities Assistant or Long Term Care/Memory Care/Assisted Living preferred.
• Certification as an Activities Professional preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Plan, promote, and lead activities for residents based on needs and interests.
• Encourage social interaction through group activities.
• Assist with religious programs and leisure activities.
• Assist with monthly newsletter and activities calendar.
• Maintain supplies for activities and set up volunteers/events.
• Transport residents to Activity programs.
