As part of our care team, you will plan and oversee a comprehensive activities calendar, supervise staff, and work with interdisciplinary colleagues to improve quality of life.

Qualifications

• Certification as Activity Director preferred or eligible to obtain.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Creative, energetic, and compassionate approach to resident engagement.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee an activities program for residents.
• Develop engaging recreational, social, educational, and therapeutic activities.
• Create monthly activity calendars and special events.
• Encourage participation and tailor activities to individual interests and abilities.
• Supervise activity staff and volunteers.
• Maintain required documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to enhance residents' quality of life.
