Job summary

CareCore at Meadows is seeking an Activity Director to lead engaging programs that enrich residents' lives. You will plan, coordinate, and oversee activities, creating calendars and events that foster participation and joy.

The role requires strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with a creative, energetic, and compassionate approach to resident engagement. Certification is preferred or obtainable, and growth within the team is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Certification preferred or eligible to obtain certification.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Creative, energetic, and compassionate approach to resident engagement.
• Ability to plan, organize, and lead both group and one-on-one activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee a comprehensive activities program for residents.
• Develop engaging recreational, social, educational, and therapeutic activities.
• Create monthly activity calendars and special events.
• Encourage resident participation while tailoring activities to individual interests and abilities.
• Supervise and support activity staff and volunteers.
• Maintain required documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to enhance residents' quality of life.
