Job summary

Ohio Living Breckenridge Village is seeking an Aquatic Activities Assistant to support a continual program of activities for residents, promoting physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being. You will help residents participate in hobbies and crafts, assist with reading activities, and support transportation to activities as needed.

The role involves coordinating events, developing schedules, and maintaining accurate activity logs while ensuring compliance with standards and preserving resident

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year activities experience preferred.
• Two years experience in a long-term care, hospital, or other related healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides programming to meet residents’ interests and well-being.
• Encourages and assists participation in hobbies and crafts.
• Assists residents with reading/writing letters and crafts; helps transport to activities.
• Coordinates parties, movies, games, and activities suitable for residents.
