Job summary

Nemasket Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Middleborough, MA is seeking an Activities Assistant to plan and implement engaging activities for residents, promoting physical, emotional, and social well-being.

You will work closely with the Activities Director to develop programs, coordinate events, and tailor activities to diverse resident needs, abilities, and interests. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; related field degree preferred.
• Experience in activities or recreation programming is a plus.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing activities programs for residents.
• Monitor and assess activity programs and suggest improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of activities and resident participation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to align activities with care plans.
• Participate in resident assessment and care planning processes.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the Activities Director.
