Webster Manor Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Webster, MA is seeking a dedicated Activities Assistant to join our recreation team. This full-time role supports planning and directing engaging activities to enhance residents' well-being in a compassionate environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating events, building relationships with residents, tailoring programs to interests, and documenting outcomes. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Help coordinate and run events and activities programming.
• Build relationships with residents and tailor programming to their interests.
• Organize group and individual programming.
• Generate ideas to excite residents and encourage participation.
• Encourage residents to participate in activities that promote physical, mental, social, and spiritual well-being.
• Assist with and follow through on resident care goals within the therapeutic team.
• Document and report any unusual or significant findings; report all reportable events immediately.
