Job summary

Fair Park Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a personable Guest Relations Coordinator to create a warm, welcoming experience for residents and their guests. You will ensure residents feel informed, comfortable, and supported, with strong communication and organizational skills guiding your daily chores and tours.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proactive and attentive to guest and resident needs.
• Warm, welcoming personality with professionalism.
• Organized and capable of coordinating events or schedules.
• Experience in customer service, hospitality, or healthcare is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome new residents and escort to rooms; assist with unpacking and room setup.
• Provide comfort items such as water, snacks, meals (with nurse approval), blankets, and pillows.
• Orient guests to facility amenities (phone/TV, dining, activities, salon).
• Host tours for families and guests, showcasing amenities and resident-centered services.
• Coordinate guest meal arrangements and private dining room/setup for family events.
• Support residents to attend activities or engage in in-room leisure.
• Make daily rounds to check on residents and address needs.
• Greet visitors, remember names, and ensure exceptional guest experience.
• Collaborate with staff across departments to coordinate guest and resident services.
• Assist with discharges: packing belongings and providing support.
• Follow up with discharged residents to ensure safe arrival and satisfaction.
