Job summary

Responsibilities

• Treat residents as directed by Physical Therapist.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation per facility and payer requirements.
• Ensure a safe treatment environment following infection control and safety protocols.
• Communicate progress to physicians, nursing staff, and families; assist with discharge planning.
• Educate residents and families on home exercise and safety.
• Recommend and order necessary durable medical equipment to support mobility.
