Job summary

Aeon is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a downtown Minneapolis community. This full-time role handles preventive maintenance, repairs, and turnovers to ensure safe, well-maintained homes for residents. You will work closely with the Property Manager and vendors.

The position emphasizes problem solving, quality workmanship, and exceptional customer service, with no on-call responsibilities and a stable weekday schedule. Candidates must own basic tools and hold a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in general apartment or building maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize requests, preventative maintenance, and safety.
• Ability to communicate professionally and build positive relationships with residents, coworkers, vendors, and contractors.

• Must own basic maintenance tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs across plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC, and finishes.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents and ensure safety, functionality, and appearance before move-in.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal of property with vendors and team.
• Provide courteous, professional service to residents and coworkers; relay updates to the Property Manager.
