Housing Development Corporation MidAtlantic is seeking a Full-time Maintenance Technician I for our St Peter Apartments & Trinity House Apartments in Columbia, PA. The role ensures safe, welcoming homes and delivers timely, quality maintenance across communities.

Essential duties include preventive maintenance, unit readiness, on-call responsiveness, and collaboration with managers to meet occupancy, budget goals, and uphold HDC’s standards of excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Hands-on maintenance experience preferred; plumbing, carpentry, HVAC training is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a responsive, respectful point of contact for residents’ maintenance needs.
• Communicate clearly with residents regarding unit entry, scheduling, and work orders.
• Complete work orders promptly (emergency within 24 hours; non-emergency within 3 days).
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce emergencies and extend asset life.
• Maintain inventory and coordinate with vendors to support routine operations.
• Collaborate with Community Manager and Regional Manager on capital projects.
