Conifer Realty in District Heights, MD, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for affordable housing communities. You’ll perform routine and preventative maintenance and support resident needs across properties in a full-time role with an on-call rotation.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of apartment or residential maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift 50 lbs regularly. Bilingual skills are a plus; strong communication helps connect with residents.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of apartment or residential maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Basic computer or mobile-app skills for work orders and timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance (painting, drywall, carpentry, plumbing, electrical).
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal, snow/ice removal, seasonal upkeep.
• Respond to work orders promptly and rotate on-call coverage.
• Follow safety, property, and inspection standards with accuracy.
• Collaborate with peers and residents with empathy and pride.
