Job summary

Intersect Healthcare, Inc. in Michigan seeks a Food and Nutrition aide to provide meals to residents, guests, and staff in sanitary conditions and per dietary policies. You will assist in kitchen operations and ensure timely tray delivery.

This role requires reading, basic math, and knowledge of sanitation. You will join a team and participate in training while upholding HIPAA and resident confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or waitressing is desirable.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions.
• Basic knowledge of sanitation and safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve salads and desserts using standardized recipes.
• Set up trays according to posted menu at food stations.
• Deliver trays to resident areas and assist with tray distribution.
• Follow directions for modified diets and adhere to portion controls.
• Maintain hygiene and wear appropriate uniform.
• Report sanitation hazards and equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
• Attend staff meetings and in-service trainings.
• Perform other duties as required.
