Job summary

IntersectHC is seeking a Food and Nutrition Aide to provide meals and snacks to residents, guests, and staff while maintaining sanitary kitchen practices. You will help with tray setup, food placement, and delivery, adhering to dietary policies and portion controls.

Responsibilities include following recipes, assisting with dishwashing, and maintaining hygiene standards. Prior experience in food service is desirable, with attention to safety and customer care in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions including some calculations.
• Basic knowledge of attractive food service, sanitation, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve salads and desserts using standardized recipes.
• Set up trays neatly and quickly according to posted menu.
• Place foods and utensils on trays according to meal plan and resident preferences.
• Follow modified diets and portion controls as directed.
• Deliver trays to resident areas and assist with distribution.
• Maintain clean work areas and equipment; report hazards.
