Job summary

Claiborne Senior Living seeks an experienced Culinary Services Director to lead all dining operations and deliver nutritious meals in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents. This hands-on leader will own outcomes, uphold quality, and champion a culture that cares for residents and families.

You will manage a culinary team, develop menus, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with clinical and activities teams to enhance resident life and dining experiences.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of management experience in food service, hospitality, senior living, or healthcare.
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of nutritional guidelines, special diets, and food service best practices.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all dining services operations, including food quality, service, sanitation, and safety.
• Develop and implement menus that meet residents’ nutritional needs, preferences, and special diets.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal food service, sanitation, and safety regulations.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise dining services team members.
• Manage food and supply inventory within budget guidelines.
• Maintain clean, organized, welcoming dining areas and kitchen spaces.
• Partner with Activities to plan special events and themed meals.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to address feedback and concerns.
• Monitor resident satisfaction and implement improvements as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement in service standards and overall dining experience.
