Job summary

Claiborne Senior Living is seeking an experienced Culinary Services Director to lead all dining services operations for our residents. This hands-on role emphasizes high-quality, nutritious meals in a clean, safe, and welcoming setting.

You will own outcomes, uphold our culture, and drive continuous improvement in service and dining experience. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of management in food service or senior living, strong leadership and communication skills, and a ServSafe certification

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of management in food service, hospitality, senior living, or healthcare.
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of nutritional guidelines, special diets, and food service best practices.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• ServSafe certification desired or willing to obtain within 90 days.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all dining services operations, including food quality, service, sanitation, and safety.
• Develop and implement menus meeting residents’ nutritional needs and preferences.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal food service regulations.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise dining services team members.
• Manage food and supply inventory while adhering to budget guidelines.
• Maintain clean, organized, welcoming dining areas and kitchen spaces.
• Partner with Activities to plan events and themed meals.
• Communicate with residents, families, and team members to address feedback.
• Monitor resident satisfaction and implement improvements as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement in service standards and presentation.
