You will follow HACCP logs, assist with food prep according to recipes, and help with safety and infection-control procedures. The position offers pay from $15 to $20 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Previous dining service experience preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow recipe instructions, diet orders, resident cards, and work assignments.
• Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks with frequent interruptions.
• Must have or be willing to receive a Hepatitis A vaccine if working within St. Louis County.

Responsibilities

• Performs defined work routines using dining service utensils, supplies, and equipment as assigned.
• Assists with dining service setup in dining rooms and at catered events, including beverages, salads, desserts, and other food items; ensures proper temperatures and on-time service.
• Assists with dining room setup including setting tables, stocking buffets, and serving residents.
• Assists with cleanup to maintain dining areas per policies; duties include bussing, cleaning, washing dishes, and restocking.
• Assists in receiving and storing food and supplies.
• Follows safety procedures and reports hazards or equipment issues.
• Maintains HACCP logs and documents product usage and waste.
• Follows infection control procedures and uses protective equipment when handling waste and cleaning agents.
