Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to read and write.
• Must be able to follow verbal and/or written instructions.
• Knowledge of food preparation and presentation methods, techniques, and quality standards.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare various foods following established menus and recipes while adhering to guidelines.
• Gather ingredients and equipment to cook meals and check temperatures.
• Transport food and supplies to service areas and replenish as needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment (mixer, processor, oven, steamer, dishwasher).
• Address daily issues related to food and staff needs.
• Maintain cooling, cleaning and stocking logs.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and assist with waste disposal.
• Provide guidance and training to other staff when needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
