Healthcare Services Group Inc. is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will ensure quality, taste, and presentation while adhering to food safety standards and working in a team-focused environment.

The role involves following planned menus, interacting with residents and staff, and supporting inventory and daily kitchen operations. A high school diploma and, ideally, prior cooking experience and ServSafe certification are preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a cook or in food preparation is preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, stand in use of kitchen for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification per state/local requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean and orderly kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
