Healthcare Services Group, Inc is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow planned menus, ensure quality and presentation, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen.

Join our team to deliver excellent resident care, support inventory, and engage with residents and staff. This role emphasizes food safety, accuracy in recipes, and a positive, professional attitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cook/food prep experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state law.
• Residency within the service area required.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean and orderly kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
