Job summary

The Dolben Company in Jessup, MD manages 262 apartment homes and seeks a Maintenance Technician to provide quality living environments for residents. You will handle preventative maintenance, repairs, and turnover work while delivering excellent service.

The role requires on-call availability, weekend/evening shifts, and a safety‑minded approach. You will join a high-energy team focused on safety, reliability, and community care, with opportunities for growth through their Dolben University

Qualifications

Experience in maintenance preferred or 1–2 years preferred.
Basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair skills.
Willingness to respond to emergencies on-call.
Reliable transportation to work and on-call events.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Comfort with using various software and computer programs.

Responsibilities

Resolve maintenance issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
Prepare vacant apartments for move-in through turnover repairs and improvements.
Perform preventive maintenance and service ticket resolution with care for residents.
Maintain safety and cleanliness, including snow removal and ground upkeep.
Provide residents with outstanding customer service.
Work weekends or evenings and be on call for after-hour emergencies.
Operate in accordance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
