Job summary

The Dolben Company, Inc. seeks a Full-Time Maintenance Technician for our Jessup, MD community of 262 apartments.

You will help maintain a high-energy environment and respond to service requests to ensure a quality living experience. You will perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repairs, prepare vacants for move-in, and uphold safety and cleanliness while working weekends or evenings and taking after-hours emergencies on call.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance is preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience is preferred.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair familiarity is a plus.
• On-call rotation availability is required.
• Good communication skills written and verbal are important.
• Basic computer skills and comfort with various software applications are expected.

Responsibilities

• Resolve maintenance issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in through turnover repairs and improvements.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the community, including snow removal and ground upkeep.
• Provide residents with excellent customer service.
• Work weekends or evenings and be on-call for after-hour emergencies.
• Follow OSHA standards and company safety policies.
