Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Community Manager in overseeing financial and operational facets of the community in Murray, Utah. The role emphasizes customer service, reporting, and lease/tenant data management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months in property management, strong communication skills, and the ability to stay professional in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• 6 months experience in the property management industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional and courteous in a fast-paced environment.
• Organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee file management and run assigned reports.
• Respond to resident requests with courteous, efficient service.
• Collect monies due and oversee evictions, skips, and move-outs by inspecting units.
• Communicate with outside legal counsel during eviction processes.
• Finalize move-in/out and renewals files and enter data into property management software.
• Oversee resident renter’s insurance procedures.
• Collect deposits and process applications for future residents.
• Ensure model/target apartments are ready for show and maintain a clean workspace.
• Maintain knowledge of lease terms, unit specs, availability, and policies.
• Maintain contact with apartment locator services and local businesses for information material.
• Engage in outreach marketing and resident retention programs.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances.
