Job summary

Royal American is seeking an Assistant Community Manager in Memphis, TN. Under the Community Manager, you will assist with leasing, marketing, resident relations, and daily financial tasks in a busy property setting.

The role requires customer service excellence, strong communication, and the ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior property management experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year property management experience preferred.
• Experience with affordable housing, Tax Credit, HUD and/or Rural Development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Community Manager in leasing, screening, and selecting residents in compliance with laws.
• Support marketing and advertising campaigns for apartment leasing.
• Manage resident relations and services to maintain resident satisfaction.
• Process rent deposits and assist with accounts payable procedures.
• Monitor budgets with Community Manager and help enforce operating guidelines.
• Oversee property grounds and amenities to ensure cleanliness and safety.
