Job summary

Community Action of Skagit County seeks a Community Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of agency-owned rental properties, build tenant relations, coordinate maintenance, ensure compliance, and engage residents.

This full-time, hourly position (37.5 hours/week) supports the Housing Project Director and grows the housing portfolio while connecting residents with Community Action programs and resources.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Property Management, Business, or related field preferred.
• 3 years of Property Management experience, ideally in affordable housing.
• Experience with tenant compliance, financial management, and working with vulnerable populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee leasing, maintenance coordination, tenant relations, and general property operations.
• Monitor and address tenant compliance with community rules and lease agreements.
• Conduct regular inspections of grounds, common areas, and units to ensure cleanliness, safety, and maintenance.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and unit turns with the maintenance team; ensure timely completion.
• Collaborate to ensure compliance with laws, including fair housing regulations and landlord-tenant requirements.
