Brookdale Senior Living is seeking a Resident Engagement Coordinator (Finance) in Mentor, OH. The role focuses on coordinating, planning, and executing programs to enhance resident well-being and engagement within the community.

You will work with residents and the leadership team to develop monthly activity calendars, plan special events, and provide meaningful engagement opportunities. A year of relevant experience and a GED are required; a related bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of direct experience with adults, coordinating, planning, and executing programs is required.
• High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) required.
• Bachelor's Degree in therapeutic recreation, gerontology, health care, education, or other related field preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses a person-centered approach to build relationships with residents.
• Develops a monthly calendar of activities in partnership with residents.
• Collaborates with community leadership to plan, coordinate, and execute special events (holiday, family, educational, marketing).
• Plans and schedules meaningful opportunities for resident engagement outside the community, including possible driving a community vehicle.
