Edgewood Properties seeks a Full-Time Resident Specialist to support a multi-family portfolio in Somerville, NJ. The role coordinates between the leasing office, maintenance team, and residents to ensure smooth daily operations, timely repairs, and strong resident engagement.

You will manage renewals, renters insurance compliance, and move-ins/move-outs while supporting community events, budgeting, and clubhouse activities. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in property management or customer service is preferred.
• Familiarity with social media platforms.
• Basic understanding of maintenance coordination and lease management.
• Basic MS Office knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Resident Profile Management: Interact with residents daily and record status of resident household in RealPage to "Know Thy Resident".
• Service Request Coordination: Print and review daily service requests and assign time frames in collaboration with the maintenance team.
• Maintenance Team Communication: Maintain ongoing communication with the maintenance team throughout the day to monitor progress on tasks and appointments.
• Lease Renewals: Regularly review the renewal report and contact residents with upcoming lease expirations; process renewals with necessary documentation.
• Renters Insurance Compliance: Review and ensure all residents have current renters’ insurance per community policies.
• Move-in/Move-out Coordination: Participate in walk/turn and schedule unit turns for efficient move-ins/outs.
• Planning & Budgeting: Assist with planning and budgeting of community events with the Community Manager and Concierge team.
• Community Calendar & Communication: Maintain updated calendar and engage residents via LOFT and social channels.
• Clubhouse & Amenity Management: Ensure clubhouse/amenities are well-maintained and stocked.
• Social Media Management: Regularly update community social media with lifestyle content and unit promotions.
• Office Supply Management: Track and order office supplies within budget.
