Job summary

CLS Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our communities safe, functional, and inviting for residents. You will handle daily upkeep inside and out, respond to service requests with professionalism, and support a high-quality resident experience.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, plus make-ready preparations, carpentry, and groundskeeping. Excellent teamwork and safety compliance are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient knowledge of basic HVAC systems and routine maintenance.
• Proficient knowledge of electrical systems and safety practices.
• Proficient knowledge of plumbing systems and repairs.
• Experience with make-ready unit preparation and turnover.
• Construction skills: sheetrock, patching, painting, flooring, carpentry.
• Experience with groundskeeping and irrigation systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service to visitors, prospects, residents, and city partners.
• Maintain professionalism in workmanship, communication, appearance, organization, and reporting.
• Complete training and keep insurances and licenses current.
• Conduct daily property walkthroughs to ensure areas are functional, safe, and well-maintained.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety across offices, common areas, exteriors, and models.
• Identify and address potential liability issues related to property maintenance.
