Job summary

CLS Living is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor for our student housing communities. You will lead a maintenance team, oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety systems, and ensure high standards in safety, cleanliness, and resident satisfaction.

The role requires 3–5 years of maintenance leadership experience in a student housing or multifamily setting, EPA 608 HVAC certification, and strong vendor and budget coordination.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 / HVAC Certification required.
• Proficient with basic building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Experience with Make Ready processes and unit turnover.
• Familiar with building automation and life safety systems.
• Strong MS Office & property management software skills (Entrata).

Responsibilities

• Lead a maintenance team to deliver high-quality service.
• Oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety systems maintenance.
• Manage preventive maintenance programs and safety initiatives.
• Supervise vendor/contractor work and obtain bids when needed.
• Maintain documentation, inspections, and occupancy-related tasks.
