Job summary

CLS Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to preserve the community’s physical condition both inside and out while delivering first-class customer service to residents and prospects. You’ll handle daily tasks with professionalism, coordinate with leasing, and support a safe, clean, and welcoming environment across all areas of the property.

The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, timely work orders, and adherence to codes and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proficient with basic HVAC systems.
• Proficient with basic electrical systems.
• Proficient with basic plumbing systems.
• Experience with make-ready unit preparation.
• Construction skills: sheetrock, texture, painting, flooring, carpentry.
• Experience with groundskeeping and irrigation systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service and build relationships with residents, prospects, and community partners.
• Maintain professionalism in workmanship, communication, personal appearance, organization, and reporting.
• Participate in company training and keep all insurances and licenses current.
• Conduct daily property walkthroughs to ensure areas are functional, safe, and well-maintained.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety across offices, common areas, stairs, exteriors, grounds.
• Identify and address potential liability issues related to property maintenance.
