Job summary

Pillar Properties is seeking a Leasing Specialist for The Century in Seattle. You will lease apartments, qualify prospects, prepare lease docs, and guide move-in processes, delivering exceptional experiences to residents.

You will interact with prospects and residents to maximize occupancy, show model homes, and explain room sizes, amenities, and lease terms while maintaining a strong awareness of market conditions and policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior leasing or sales experience or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
• Ability to use social media.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Knowledge of sales techniques.
• Knowledge of current real estate market conditions.
• Ability to calculate figures and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Lease apartments by generating and handling traffic, qualifying prospects, preparing lease docs, and move-in paperwork.
• Interact with residents to maximize occupancy and provide excellent service.
• Interview prospects to assess needs and qualifications.
• Show model apartments and discuss layout, amenities, and terms.
• Maintain knowledge of applications, screening, and rental policies.
• Provide high level customer service to residents and team members.
• Handle resident requests and complaints professionally.
• Maintain model apartments and curb appeal; ensure property ready for showings.
• Inspect premises and coordinate maintenance as needed.
• Report unusual circumstances about property or residents.
• Gather market data from competitor properties.
