Job summary

Avanath Capital Management is seeking a Leasing Specialist to drive leasing, marketing, and resident relations across our communities. The role emphasizes professional interaction with residents and staff and requires a proactive, service-oriented mindset.

A background in affordable housing and bilingual skills are highly valued. Responsibilities include greeting prospects, qualifying leads, processing applications, and coordinating move-ins while maintaining accurate records in Yardi Voyager.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales and/or customer relations experience.
• Bilingual English & Spanish highly desired.
• Solid computer skills: Word, Excel, Internet, Email.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify all prospects and record visits on guest cards.
• Inspect models and market-ready units; coordinate with Community Manager on service needs.
• Demonstrate apartments and apply product knowledge to prospect needs; close the sale.
• Process applications and deposits; update availability reports and approvals in Yardi.
• Ensure apartment is ready for move-in; follow up with prospects and refer to sister communities if needed.
• Orient new residents and collect signatures; monitor renewals and send renewal notices.
