Job summary

Birchstone Residential is seeking a Leasing Specialist to support leasing operations and financial performance of the community by coordinating rentals, move-ins, move-outs, and renewals. You will secure leases, assist with marketing, and uphold the Birchstone brand.

Duties include greeting prospects, giving tours, screening applicants, processing applications, scheduling and coordinating move-ins/move-outs, and maintaining online listings while delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year leasing or customer service experience required.
• Experience in multi-family property management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with prospective residents; provide tours of units and the community.
• Qualify and screen prospective residents; process rental applications; follow Fair Housing guidelines.
• Secure deposits and lease agreements; communicate lease expirations and renewals.
• Assist with move-in and move-out procedures.
• Assist in inspections of the community and apartments; ensure apartments are ready for new residents.
• Assist residents with concerns and requests; deliver outstanding customer service.
• Assist with community marketing and resident events.
• Market available units and maintain online advertisements; monitor market trends.
• Provide support in special projects and administrative duties; report progress.
