Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Leasing / Sales Consultant in Austin to execute marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies that drive occupancy and revenue. You will guide prospects through the leasing process, coordinate tours and applications, and support resident satisfaction throughout the lease term.

You will manage CRM data, analyze market conditions, and collaborate with the Lifestyle Coordinator to boost resident engagement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years minimum of relevant experience in sales, marketing, hospitality, or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to explain apartment features and answer questions.
• Mathematical skills necessary to process sales conversions.
• Ability to apply sales skills, such as generating leads, presenting, qualifying, and closing.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct property tours and show apartments, process applications, perform background checks, and prepare lease documents.
• Record move-in information and maintain accurate prospect data and leads.
• Monitor market conditions, adjust marketing plans, and follow policies to boost occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing activities and events to drive traffic and referrals.
• Use property management software to track availability, occupancy, and leasing activities; analyze data.
• Ensure show units meet quality standards; coordinate with maintenance for show-ready spaces.
• Follow up with prospects and new residents within 24 hours to finalize leases or renewals.
• Prepare lease renewal letters and packages; manage renewal communications in advance of move-out dates.
• Respond to resident concerns promptly and document requests for escalation.
• Attend events and outreach activities to generate new leads and referrals.
• Complete reports and assist with additional duties as needed.
