Job summary

Sentral in Austin, TX is seeking a Sales Specialist to join our in-person leasing team. You will be on the front lines, convert inquiries, guide prospective residents through the application process, and help minimize vacancy by leasing homes quickly to maximize net rent.

You will uphold Sentral's customer-service standards, build rapport with residents, conduct property tours, coordinate welcoming new residents, and maintain accurate records in our property management software while adhering to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• 1 year of customer service experience and 1 year of apartment leasing experience or equivalent in accounting/customer service.
• Strong attention to detail and sales ability.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Computer-literate with email and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Uphold Sentral's standards and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Establish rapport with residents and guests to ensure they feel loved.
• Oversee daily leasing responsibilities per company policies and standards.
• Coordinate welcoming new residents and guests.
• Assist with office management and clerical tasks.
• Record and update prospective and current residents in the property management software.
• Complete lease applications and verify information; inform applicants of results.
• Inform maintenance of any repair or cleaning needs.
• Maintain and store documentation effectively.
• Advertise available homes and conduct property tours as part of marketing.
• Provide backup for Experience team and homeshare efforts.
