American Campus Communities seeks a Marketing & Resident Experience Specialist to drive revenue through targeted marketing and leasing activities at Campus Edge in West Lafayette, IN. The role combines leasing duties with events, social media, and resident engagement to keep occupancy high.

You will conduct tours, coordinate move-ins, manage room assignments, and collaborate with partners to enhance the living experience while supporting marketing initiatives across platforms.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in leasing, marketing, or sales.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with social media and events is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maximize revenue and occupancy through marketing and leasing execution.
• Conduct appointments, tours, and follow-ups with prospective residents.
• Perform property tours and address objections to close tours.
• Maintain accurate leasing data and complete move-in/out admin.
• Assist with office tasks including package management.
• Plan and execute lease-up events and resident programs.
• Implement sales/marketing strategies using traditional and digital channels.
• Create engaging social media content per brand standards.
• Audit websites and digital listings for accuracy and visuals.
• Prepare and submit reports for approval.
• Coordinate room assignments and roommate matching.
• Build relationships with local businesses and university partners.
• Stay informed on market trends and new area developments.
• Partner with service team to maintain curb appeal.
• Other duties; on-call rotation possible.
