Job summary

Northshore Village in Chattanooga, TN is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to help oversee daily operations at a multi-family property. You will support leasing, resident relations, rent collection, renewals, and overall property performance, working closely with the Community Manager.

You should be organized, people-focused, and motivated to grow in property management. The role requires 2+ years of assistant property management experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years as assistant property manager.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; willing to learn new systems.
• Experience with tenant relations and conflict resolution.
• Positive, energetic, aligned with company values.
• Proof of valid vehicle insurance and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with residents and prospects.
• Respond to maintenance requests and ensure completion.
• Handle leasing tours and answer questions.
• Process rent payments and late notices.
• Manage renewals and retention efforts.
